When a new player finishes the tutorial, a mentor is chosen semi-randomly from the mentors currently online and is notified by chatmail. (Mentors least likely to be AFK according to the CB guestimator are most likely to be picked.) This mentor is reponsible for helping the new player explore CB and acclimate to the community. Please do not volunteer if you are easily annoyed by stupid questions!
