exbow/exbow drain really huge? (in General)

Hi,

i noticed that when i hit someone with my ax/exbow, most of the time it drains all ST/DX with a single hit, sometimes two hits are needed.

.. same when i get hit by ax/exbow, millions of ST/DX get drained with 1-2 hits.

quite powerful, and i imagine that fights are decided by just who does the first hit if both have ax/exbows equipped, and if both do hit we quickly run into stalemates if no magic dd is involved.

do i miss sth? seems almost overpowered to me

Quite literally it's hit or miss but if it hits....it hits very hard!

Well, it is pointless unless the other team has a minion in melee. But yes, it is a game changer in the right situation and it often comes down to the first hit. I have a butt load of evasion trained on one of my minions for that very reason which is even more effective than DBs.

To add on EV vs DB: the 2.2x effectiveness (if i recall is the multiplier) for first round evasion is what makes it better than DB for tank v tank exbow deciding battles. Now on your mage minions feel free to slap on DB to make them survive considerably longer vs physical damage. Now that also becomes a debate as CML can really help vs GA teams. Food for thought.

.. another counter is to have 3 more minions with each a little PL.

Do you know if pl sucks all the drain, even if it only absorbs say 20 damage? .. of course each minion would absorb only one round as after that the st or dx is negative, but still 3 more rounds for me to hit first .. or tackle with the opposing pl meat shields myself ..

ah, got it from the docs, it needs to absorb at least haft of the damage done to absorb the drain as well
