Hey guys, I have a question in regard to minions and recruitment. I currently have a 2 minion team and the NUB until mid October. My team right now consists of an enchanter with GA and AMF as well as an archer. It is performing really well, however, eventually I would like to incorporate more minions. Down the road I was tossing around the idea of a phantom link wall and an anti-mage wall. What would the pros and cons be of waiting until my NUB runs out before recruiting a third and fourth minion verse doing it now? What would you recommend in terms of when to recruit more? Thanks for any input you guys can offer!
Also, is buying/selling CB$ still allowed?
Since you can create new accounts now to benefit from NUB bonuses (as long as you abandon your old account. Transferring items over IS allowed) it may not be worth the CB$ to buy new minions until you have a fully fleshed out strategy so feel free to experiment. The two ways to distribute EXP deliberately are to use the Rune of Enlightenment or buying minions, as you have mentioned. Only con of buying minions is that it tends to get costly. But with the new NUB bonuses you will make a LOT of money! We are all trying different strategies at the higher levels, but I would recommend having an answer for Guardian Angel, as that is the problem I am trying to solve myself with an attacking focused team. So aside from intentionally spreading out or concentrating experience, there isn’t an advantage of doing it now or waiting until NUB runs out? Just want to make sure I am not missing anything
It all boils down to exp distribution. If you hire at the end of the NUB you get a larger minion and big boost to your MPR, but distribution thereafter will be slower due to no longer having the NUB bonus.
The nature of the exponential growth curve of the bonuses have made long term strategies a challenge. Consider focusing on building networth while trying different set ups until something catches your eye. Spending money on minions doesn't have the value it once did.
