T97 Warring Clans (in Contests)

This will be a 2 week long tourney starting on March 17 12:00 AM server time.

The first week will be for growth as everyone finds their place in the tournament world. On day 5 everyone will be sorted into two evenly matched clans (teams). On each day of the second week every player may select a target on the opposing team. You are to pm me who your target is for the day before the start of it. If you have not sent me a target you will be considered to not have a target.

For every target there can be 1 point earned and that will be determined by who has more wins against the other at the end of the day. If they are equal then neither team is awarded a point. If two players pick the same target there will only be awarded 1 point for that target but your battle totals will be added together so you are effectively joining forces. Use this for your strategizing.

As such each player can potentially earn up to 2 points in a single day. One for beating their target and one for defending against any who target them.

You cannot pick a target for another player. It is up to each player themselves to pick out targets and tell me so I encourage you all to communicate and work together. Double tapping is also allowed I would suggest that the one losing the first battle not be targeting that person though.

All skills, spells and items are available so have at it.

So day 5 we get sorted out. Clans battle start on day 8? Does that allow us to swap strategies and tips with fellow clan mates to adjust for those 2 days?

That is the idea. Organize and continue growing yourselves for those 2 days in-between team selection and the start of the war days.

Another thing to mention is that there will be no public display of who is targeting who each day. This means that you will not know if you are being targeted and if so by who and how many.

It's been a long time for me. Are we able to buy from auctions?

No auctions. Everything will be available in the tourney store. I mean everything.

A store! Now that's fancy. Last I played a tourney was like 07. Are things in store all base items?

All tourney store items are base items unless they can't be upgraded such as the AoJ and AoI which are both +10.

When we start targeting for points will that also start at 12:00am server time the 24th?

When are teams going to be decided? Also, what is the prize for being on the winning team?
