T91: Monster Maces (in Contests)

Next tourney will be starting on Wednesday Midnight server time. It will run for 1 week. The winner will be the one with the most powerful blow and each team will be required to have at least 1 minion with a SoC and blunt weapon equipped. No training of DD's are allowed. Everything else is allowed as well as all items available in the store.

Starting BA is 5000 and BA cap is also 5000.

This means you could theoretically make multiple runs for the tourney however only the latest run will be counted for winning.

Does the most powerful blow have to be made by a MoD?

no, any blunt weapon can be used. This includes Unarmed Combat as well.

What kind of challenge bonus are we looking at?

Is there an easy way to search retired tourney characters? Just want to keep tabs on people making multiple runs.

Can someone explain how the challenge bonus works? The higher opponents i fight, the lower the bonus. Characters with twice my score and/or mpr give a bonus of -77%. I dont think thats correct?

Remember that tourney characters work off of tourney score which can be very different from the team's actual score.

tyvm! (out of interest, when I was playing the tourney it told me I had 2K BA left to spend, then I ran out of current BA so thought it must need regening, when I loggeed in an hour or so later it said all BA used up, did I get something confused or was it just displaying wrongly? - I'm not fussed as was only playing (interesting tourney btw ty nem) for little fun not competively just out of interest)

Ye there's a serious delay and faulty showing of ba left. I had the same thoughts but at the end it turned out allright.

I believe that the amount it says you have left does not update unless you refresh the sidebar. Thus, when you are fighting it will not accurately reflect how many more battles you really have left but rather how many you had left at the start of that session.

I play cb on my laptop, desktop and phone. Switching to either one, even with a reasonable amount of time in between, would still give the wrong amount. It seemed that it was only updated every 3-4 hours, I didnt keep count but it was something like that. At the end I had 27 BA left and it said I reached the max amount, while I fought 5017 battles. I'm only guessing here, but could it be because of the switching with a non-tournament character that the system can't keep correct track? Either way, I loved the tourney :)

Yeah, I noobed this one...totally thought I had another day to use the other ~2k BA
