How long are the levels?

Antes?

How long will you expect this tourney to last?

etc...

whenever we have 10 people, hopefully in an hour or two... No definitive time or date...we can also play a 6 player tourney if we cant find enough people...

Okay so some rules i suppose: when you sign up you start with $1000 game money, so that will be the buy in for the game...Blinds can be set at whatever, and the blind increase interval can be set from 2 min - 30 minutes...

It is important to know what the blind structure is.

If the blinds go up every 5 minutes, then it is a turbo tourney and basically luck plays a lot more into the results than skill.

If we do not have antes then people can just sit back and wait till they get a premium hand.

Just saying it would be nice to have these facts stated before starting such a tourney.

Well Ranger I'm not going by the CB Standard of setting a rule and being afraid to change it... Hopefully there will be many more of these tourneys in the future and we can tweak everything as it needs to be, as we go...

So, of course there WILL be blinds, but the rate is up in the air, I havent made the game yet so whatever we decide we think is best is what we can go with when we start the game :)

I just thought of doing this about 30 minutes ago, once I found a good flash poker site with good customization and private games, I posted on here...not much planning ;) Just thought it would be fun to play poker with you all, and maybe make some CB cash in the meantime...

with 1k buy-in, do blinds of 50 and 100, blinds up every 10 or 15 minutes.

If you go to PokerStars, and download their free play money software, you can easily set up a private game and standardize all the rules.

Everyone would need to download the software and create an account but it is very easy to do.

Yeah thats the main reason I was looking for a flash game, as to not have to convince people of downloading stuff...But I'm all for that if we can get enough people
