Change one thing about CB (in General)
If you could change one thing about CB, what would it be? Be specific, and try to be semi-realistic. Don't say like "I wish the game was more fun", or "Put it some nice graphics", b/c those are both unrealistic and very vague. Do something like "Change the current bonus system into a rolling bonus", or "Improve the clans to be more interactive and larger."
Mine:
Make weapons, and armors more rare in a way that actually causes a climb through the ranks of weapon, will at the same time giving nice rares to the upper ranks.

And, IMO of course, in the world according to Ranger and only Ranger. As Ranger himself only sees it, it would be best to state what you would change and give you way of making the change work.
Saying 'change the clan system' does little. Saying that and how you would change it does a lot of good.
Change ba accrual to be a choose your own difficulty level as I have explained before. Where you choose from 10-6 and at 6 ba or easy you get no difficulty bonus and at 10 ba regen you get max difficulty bonus of some 10-15% or so.
Yeah, I don't care if they are super specific about how they would want to change, but I'm very interested in what they why they think it would improve things. If they have a very detailed idea, I think it'd be cool, but I didn't want to force people to answer with really long drawn out paragraphs.

well, my change would be the NCB duration, that you can change it (as sickone i think has suggested) to different durations with different bonusses.

Rolling bonus
As a backup, I'd say small icons to appear next to gear items. These are used in MineThings, and someone (Xeno?) even did a mockup image at one point. It's an excellent way to incorporate graphics in a zero-cost, low-effort manner, and since it wouldn't be used on fight screens, it wouldn't lag the server. Adapt or die.
i am not sure if this would count as realistic, but my change would be to have jon back. with both him and ns working on the game, as well as the new people adding stuff i think it would be amazing.

GL, why would you want a perm tournament? I'm just curious. Wouldn't that just be like starting CB over? Would you rather have like a recurring 6month/1Year tourney?

Can't speak for GL, but it would be a good partial N*B replacement. Stick new users in a permanent tournament for two weeks, before tossing them in with the rest of us.

Ahh this wasn't what I thought GL was talking about this. I think this however is a great idea, Nat suggested this I believe, like years ago. I think this along with a tutorial improvement could go a long ways.

I already gave one suggestion on how I would like it changed. As per Ranger in Ranger's world as Ranger himself and only by himself sees it.
As Ranger alone would like it to be.

Remove the N*B, and replace it with any one of the multiple improved systems already suggested.

Otherwise an organized Wiki. Less dead pages, outdated information, etc.
Group items into tiers for BA ranges. This would create a market(rentals,forging,fs/wtb) for smaller items to have a small nw upgrade to medium items with medium NW increase to the top tier with the big end game items rocking high NW.
A feat system of 4 tiers with non refundable exp costs, up to 1mil exp, can mix match what you can, and can only have 4 feats per minion. Meant to replace skills or enhance various effects. All the depth I care to explain and avoid making a page of what ifs.
Kill endurance and replace existing affects with a diminishing return algorithm. As I've mentioned it sucks to have to use items with a narrow range of NW at given levels. A 2M NW bow is only useful for a very narrow MPR range. What a mess that made of everything.
I would change "approved" to "proven" in Tal's user pic.

If we're not going to get any large changes, it's the simplest 'big fix' to CB I can think of.
Fix the couple of Score manipulation problems, and the concurrent Tournament issue (if that still exists?) and get it going.
The first reason would be to remove the influence of USD utterly, and with the T Store make CB based around strategy and design and not RL cash or lucky random drops.
It would also not sunder CB in half, and allow those players who enjoy the USD aspect of the game (and the random drops or rare item feel) to also enjoy CB.
You still have the problem of disposable teams, but the NCB can die a happy death (all new T characters would by design be created with a full NUB, and there's no issue with that as there's no transfers), and you can't save up 1600 BA before starting.
There's probably much more it would fix, but I'm a little rusty on CB stuff. ;)
And all this without effecting anyones existing game, if they don't want it too.
All in all, I feel this really should be a high priority on any design 'to do' list for CB.
If I could have a second, it would be for a Rolling Bonus. ;)
And a third would be the return of Changemonths.
I'd give it a cool handlebar mustache.

I don't have a problem at all with playing on a phone, but sometimes a simplified interface would be nice.

1. Larger clans hopefully creating less clans - clans are pretty pointless apart from the exp bonus. Rather than give a bonus - create more clan-related tasks. Maybe the concept of group battles.
2. Get rid of forging
3. Allow more than one tatoo - or allow wearing of cloak/armour when wearing one.
4. Get Jon back to put some new blood into the game
5. Create Armour/Weapon sets to give an extra bonus

First choice : Death to the N*B system and the disposable team mentality it promotes.
Should be replaced by SOME form of self-adjustable bonus. I don't really care WHAT type of bonus that might be or how you call it (rolling bonus, self-adjustable bonus, dynamic bonus, whatchamacallit bonus) as long as it makes it at least THEORETICALLY possible for any EXISTING character to reach at least 90% of the top game MPR in a certain reasonable timespan (say, 1 year, or at most two) if they put in the maximum amount of effort that is reasonably possible WITHOUT having to resort to purchasing stuff with USD.
Second choice (if the first one is not feasible) : Another reason for the "disposable mentality" gone : make tattoo growth be the same OR HIGHER compared to MTL growth.
Your tattoo should reach your MTL all by itself eventually. You can do that by either raising the tattoo growth rate (in which case, all current tattoos should get a one-time boost in level) OR by lowering the MTL (in which case all tattoos remain the way they are now).

Every 3-4 months, have a 72 hour window of unlimited free retraining.
It will:
Keep characters from losing mpr due to retraining and falling behind.
Increase item demand/sales (for people testing new strats).
It will also make the game more interesting with people wanting to test a strat to find weaknesses in other strats.
It will also allow for exploits/bugs to be discovered faster.
2. Get rid of forging
I'm not sure you realize that forging is the only thing keeping some of us here...
I think I'd vote for more people, especially in chat.
Freed, why do you want to get rid of forging? I'm just curious.

I'm surprised only one person said "new items" and no one said "camping."
It's great that most of us are in agreement on the changes -- the only real holdout is what the N*B should change into. But all of this is just chatter unless someone can actually get permission to make changes AND handle all of the coding... which is unlikely.

Forging - I tried it in the early days and I thought it was a waste of time and BA. Its only my personal opinion - and if people want to join this game (or stay here) and forge then so be it.
In that case it should not cost BA - it should be just another thing you do to improve your equipment.

Forging: have forging allocation, regenerating at half of the normal BA regeneration, forging with BA will get 10% forging efficiency reduction, let forging allocation be buyable with the same amounts of ba and costs.
