Wow, condolences to his family. Looks like he wasn't doing too well after all. I wasn't a big apple fan, but he will be missed as a larger then life dude. :(

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] October 5 2011 7:53 PM EDT

QBRanger October 5 2011 7:57 PM EDT

Wow,

I, like others, knew he was very sick, but not his sick.

He will be remembered for a long time as a pioneer. I guess that is the legacy one can ask for.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] October 5 2011 7:59 PM EDT

he was ten years older than i, and ranger i believe, that is too young.

QBRanger October 5 2011 8:03 PM EDT

He was 56. I am 45.

Just shows you when it is your time, it is your time.

Dang we like live on the internet, you would think we would all know about this...

AdminNightStrike October 5 2011 9:44 PM EDT

Well, you do know about it... how close to the occurrence do you need to be? :)

I think the world just lost a massive amount of innovation. Technology as a whole just hit the brakes, and will be playing a 5 year catch up.

AdminNightStrike October 5 2011 10:02 PM EDT

Those who knew Mr. Jobs say that one reason why he was able to keep innovating was because he didn't dwell on past accomplishments or legacy but kept looking ahead and demanded that employees do the same.

I like this.

Cheers to a man who changed the world!

Quyen October 6 2011 9:37 AM EDT

i think i am the only one that know him only of a huge bussiness owner ._.

QBRanger October 6 2011 9:57 AM EDT

And to everyone who loves their Android phone, Jobs is the man you have to thank for it.

Even though he did not make that platform, it was designed to directly compete with the iPhone. I seriously doubt we would see such an advanced platform for a competing phone without the iPhone as the standard.

It is a shame to lose someone dedicated to new innovation who was making a difference.

Was never a huge fan of Apple Products but I have to say he did set one hell of a standard for others to step up to. He will be missed as a keep moving forward innovator of his time.
