How do you retire a tournament character?

same way you retire a normal character.

Manage -> retire selected

i couldn't retire mine in the last tournament, it wasn't a big deal so i never really brought it up.

What happened when you tried dude?

When you fight with a tourney char, the sidebar name disappears and it only shows the score for your character.

it wouldn't give an error or anything, it just didn't retire it. i could select it and press retire all day and it would still be active. started a test one for this tournament, will try to retire it now.

i also do not have a name for my character in my sidebar.

i just tried to retire my t char and it did the same thing. it does bring up the "are you sure.." box but will not retire him.

i also tried switching to my main instead of the t char and retiring, still not working.

I've retired 12 t characters this tourney. >:3

i can retire using the admin interface, i will create a brand new one and see if it can be retired.

the brand new t char cannot be retired using the normal method either.

I have the exact same problem as dudemus; nothing happens after I confirm a retire.

What browser are you two using? I never have any issues... mayhap its cache issue...

Can either of you test creating and retiring a normal char?

I'm really going to need a reproducible testcase for this one.

i do believe this is the third tournament this has happened in. i have never had issues with normal characters, only t chars. there is one on my account right now that will not let me retire it ns.

I had that problem when I was starting a NCB. It would not let me retire any of my characters so I could start stocking BA at a much lower rate. Never happened again though.

I'm using the latest version of firefox, but the retire button doesn't work in chrome either.
