Awesome movie! i highly recommend it. Of the movies i have seen my favorite of 2009 :)

AdminQBVerifex December 20 2009 2:39 AM EST

I agree, I saw the 3D version tonight and although it has plenty cheesy lines in it, the movie delivers on many fronts and has some amazing scenes with CGI characters that are definitely well done.

Marlfox [Cult of the Valaraukar] December 20 2009 8:31 AM EST

Solid acting to boot.

I just saw it. Its a good movie. What cheesey lines are you talking about btw..?

DoS December 21 2009 12:06 AM EST

I just saw it and I must say that it was a very cool movie! It is up there with my favorite movies.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] December 21 2009 12:08 AM EST

i just got back from seeing the movie and i agree that it was awesome. it can be hard to have cutting edge technological leaps and yet still be immersive, this did that amazingly well.

Admin{CB1}Slayer333 [SHIELD] December 21 2009 12:11 AM EST

A+++, would (did) watch again.

bartjan December 21 2009 1:28 AM EST

2d or 3d?

DoS December 21 2009 1:42 AM EST

I watched it in 3D. At first there was so much to look at, but then you get used to it and just enjoy it :).

Pwned December 21 2009 1:47 AM EST

Agreeed this was my first time and there was just so much I wanted to look at and the world seems so huge!

Fern Gully... IN SPACE !

3D is definitely a treat with the camera work making you feel like you're standing behind the character or watching them through the bush.

I was going to see it in IMax 3D last night, but they were sold out so my friend and I got tickets for tomorrow. I'm so excited to see it...

Pwned December 21 2009 4:46 PM EST

IMAx

LUCKY!

Marlfox [Cult of the Valaraukar] December 21 2009 8:05 PM EST

If only there was an IMAX theater in my state.

Demigod December 21 2009 9:52 PM EST

There must be far fewer IMax theaters than I thought. We have one nearby, but I rarely ever use it. The prices are inflated, and many of the regular theaters now have similar 3D technology.

Wow I just read some reviews people were posting and alot of them are negative for some reason.

This is to be expected with over hype and recycled scripts.

kevlar December 22 2009 1:20 AM EST

I'm looking forward to seeing it. My gf has other plans for me though, with some new Hugh Grant and SJParker movie...

Pwned December 22 2009 1:23 AM EST

wow Lol funny, cant stand either of them, good luck with that.

{Wookie}-Jir.Vr- December 22 2009 1:25 AM EST

Sherlock Holmes, also looks decent.

I think my said we are going to this tomorrow night at the imax 3d. It's funny because movie tickets in my area are like 10 bucks per person, but the imax is only 7 per person. Doesn't make much sense but I won't complain LOL

{Wookie}-Jir.Vr- December 23 2009 12:37 PM EST

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

GO SEE THIS MOVIE AT IMAX 3D IF YOU HAVEN'T YET!!!

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

Kefeck [Demonic Serenity] December 23 2009 12:48 PM EST

;)

FailBoat[SG] [Forever Alone] December 24 2009 3:15 AM EST

IMAX is sold out for the next solid week in my area. But a friend took us to see the regular 3D... Amazing movie.

PearsonTritonRaveshaw December 24 2009 10:04 PM EST

Well I finally did see it in Imax 3D, and it was pretty cool. Imagine a Sci-Fi movie with Titanic writing, a Dances With Wolves plot, and a beautiful, colorful and luscious jungle planet as the setting. It was cool. 8/10 for me. =)
