I agree, I saw the 3D version tonight and although it has plenty cheesy lines in it, the movie delivers on many fronts and has some amazing scenes with CGI characters that are definitely well done.

I just saw it and I must say that it was a very cool movie! It is up there with my favorite movies.
i just got back from seeing the movie and i agree that it was awesome. it can be hard to have cutting edge technological leaps and yet still be immersive, this did that amazingly well.
A+++, would (did) watch again.

I watched it in 3D. At first there was so much to look at, but then you get used to it and just enjoy it :).

3D is definitely a treat with the camera work making you feel like you're standing behind the character or watching them through the bush.

Sickone +1
I was going to see it in IMax 3D last night, but they were sold out so my friend and I got tickets for tomorrow. I'm so excited to see it...

If only there was an IMAX theater in my state.

There must be far fewer IMax theaters than I thought. We have one nearby, but I rarely ever use it. The prices are inflated, and many of the regular theaters now have similar 3D technology.

Wow I just read some reviews people were posting and alot of them are negative for some reason.

This is to be expected with over hype and recycled scripts.

wow Lol funny, cant stand either of them, good luck with that.
Sherlock Holmes, also looks decent.
I think my said we are going to this tomorrow night at the imax 3d. It's funny because movie tickets in my area are like 10 bucks per person, but the imax is only 7 per person. Doesn't make much sense but I won't complain LOL
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW
GO SEE THIS MOVIE AT IMAX 3D IF YOU HAVEN'T YET!!!
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW
IMAX is sold out for the next solid week in my area. But a friend took us to see the regular 3D... Amazing movie.
Well I finally did see it in Imax 3D, and it was pretty cool. Imagine a Sci-Fi movie with Titanic writing, a Dances With Wolves plot, and a beautiful, colorful and luscious jungle planet as the setting. It was cool. 8/10 for me. =)
