The forging efficiency on the mace is very very good though.

You asked which type is the cheapest to upgrade. Apart from the Mace, the Morgul Hammer is, though costs much more money to acquire.

I'm guessing dump a good PTH on mace and put that plus SoC on an enchanter....
retaliation damage immune to dm
I just grabbed a lucerne hammer... never thought about upping the plus.
Yep, it's a very cost-effective way to effectively use an SoC.
