Question about character transfers (in General)

Can you transfer a character to a player that has over 160 BA saved?

I thought it was forbidden, but I hear it is possible.

Anyone know for sure?

That is no longer the case.
The cap is at 1600 period, regardless of sent chars.

I've also found that there is no longer a restriction on how many NCB chars you can have in a given time period.

It should be forbidden, for obvious exploit (minus transfer fees) reasons :o

If you still are able to transfer a character to someone who has 1600 BA saved, then it will cost you dearly because of the new transfer fees system.

I had sent my character over a few months ago during my holiday. The player I sent it to had saved up quite a lot of BA and fought with it just normally. It did cost me a lot though and that was with a reasonably low MPR character.


Exploit? In my opinion with the current system not, you could gain huge amounts of experience in this way, but it would cost you hard cash. Loads of cash...

It would cost you loads of cash, for an established character, but what about a fresh NCB?

Fresh NCB would still cost 100k + 4/3 of it's MPR.
Plus of course for transfering items and money.

That itself wouldn't be too expensive, but it would very soon get much more expensive.

And my character was an NCB btw.

Ah, yes it used to be +50k now +100k.

This is how Single Minion got so high. Jon also said he was okay with it.

Thanks Mitt... I was too new and missed that thread. After reading that thread, I side with Novice's standpoint, but if Jon says it is fine, then game on.

What you cannot do with over 160 BA is unretire a character.

That is what I must have been thinking about in the back of my mind.
