Building a PC (in Off-topic)

Newlin [SeeD] February 7 2009 12:33 PM EST

I am currently building a home computer and this is my current build. I won't be playing a lot of games on it so I don't need an additional graphics card. I just want something fast and fairly in expensive, which I believe I have obtained here since the total price is just under $600 USD. If you have any tips on making this better let me know.

Why build when you can buy pre-built at ridiculously cheap prices? Here is the store and their product list.

Seriously. I build my own, but for my mother in law or someone like that I buy from the discount resellers. I paid about $1000 for my PC but by looking at places like tigerdirect I got a machine darned near as good for about $250 and that included Windows.
So if you're not a gamer this might be the way to go. Oh, and if you don't mind that your machine just looks like a regular PC.
