Fishes are playing WoW? (in Off-topic)

You heard right, the Fish twins are starting up World of Warcraft, and we both phail at it right now. Anyone with advice regarding bloodelf warlocks or paladins or stuff they don't use anymore and we can get use out of should CM us!

I have 3 70s and 2 have the best PvP gear possible, so I know what I'm doing :)

Right! Well, other than the fact that we already ARE playing WoW, and enjoy it, we're on server Anub'arak because we enjoy low population servers. I appreciate the offer though 3D!

Anyways, as Paladin, the fastest way to level is to use "Retribution" talents. For Warlocks the fastest is Affliction or Demonology, both are arguably the best for leveling. Don't worry about PvP until you are level 70, and really be frugal because it's nice to have $$ for WotLK. Running instances is great for XP, especially if you have the bonus from someone referring you.

And with the low pop thing, I see your reasoning, I had that reasoning too when I first started, but I couldn't imagine playing without people I could contact outside of WoW. I would have probably quit a long time ago if I didn't know anyone in RL that played WoW.

Don't touch Paladins until the patch hits.

Then go Ret all the way and have a tonne of fun!

For Warlocks, roll your face over the keyboard and kill everything. :P

demonology warlock is great for levelling and very fun to play as well.

Agreed with Dude... I play a Demonology Lock and use Dots and kill everything quickly....

Affliction is more fun imo. Try both out! Changing your talents costs gold, so don't change too often.

We both thought long and hard (~6 months) about whether or not to start up playing it. We finally decided to cave and jump in. Don't worry, we both know WoW sucks. ;)

Don't play WOW, play EVE-Online instead :)
I mean, come on, where else can you find a game where the "leveling up" continues while offline ? :P

Actually, it killed a gamer in China. Seriously!

He literally played non stop until he dropped dead. :/ As far as I know, this led to China installing measures so that WoW discouraged you from playing for long streches, something about it reducing the XP/Drops you get after a set amount of time.

I think I remember seeing a news article about someone who was killed over stealing someone else's in-game weapon before too.

Yeah, that was the kid who camped for a year for something in everquest then shot himself when someone else took the spawn.

I'm going with sickone on the Eve. Much better game.

Pally is the hardest class to level, and warlock is very easy, roll your face across the keyboard and everything dies... It's the truth :( so easy (I have a 70 lock)

I've played most classes, and I've found Mages, Warlocks, and Hunters to be the most fun (rogue can be too). Pally is a bad class for many reasons (I also have a 70 pally) well... depends on what you want to do ... raid or pvp... but it's pretty not fun at lvl 70 in either situation because you're hands are tied...

Hunter is the most fun you should consider rolling one, it's the FASTEST and most EASY to level // play (Beastmaster spec you're basically your own party, you have a tank, healing abilities, AND dps) You never die, and your only job is to KILL...

GL: Just by looking into it for a few minutes it seems that there are a couple more WoW attributed deaths.

A 13 year old Chinese boy jumped to his death out a 24 story building last year after playing too much WoW.

2 Korean parents went to play WoW at an internet cafe, lost track of the time, and left their 4 month old baby alone for several hours as the baby suffocated.

Truly sad and pathetic.
