I usually make both chocolate and peanut button sandwiches and combine them.

winner winner April 18 2008 2:27 PM EDT

I don't like either of them but chocolate is definitely better.

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] April 18 2008 2:32 PM EDT

Chocolate... I don't think peanut butter can boast about how many millions of people are addicted to it...

j'bob April 18 2008 2:36 PM EDT

Buddy Lee Man of Action says...
Peanut Butter!

The only thing better than peanut butter is peanut butter AND chocolate.
Arrrghhhh!

AdminLamuness April 18 2008 2:52 PM EDT

There is nothing to decide. That is why we have Reese's Peanut Butter cups.

Peanut Butter!!!!

Xenko April 18 2008 3:44 PM EDT

Chocolate.

Nothing else needs to be said. Sweet, sweet chocolate. or if you don't like sweet, there is plenty of bitter as well. And for those of you in the middle, semi-sweet will serve your purposes. Who hear honestly eats peanut butter right out of the jar... that's right, no one does that. It's thick and sticky, and there's even a phobia about peanut butter sticking to the room of your mouth (Arachibutyrophobia). Who has ever had a chocolate phobia! Even Reese Peanut Butter cups would be just wrong without the chocolate coating goodness!! Chocolate is clearly superior in every way. And whoever brought up that chocolate peanut butter, obviously peanut butter was not good enough by itself, so they had to add chocolate to make it great, which is easily shown by the following formula.

T = <[C] - [PB])>/100

where T is tastiness, [C] is chocolate concentration, [PB] is peanut butter concentration, where [C] + [PB] must equal 100.

If [C] = 100 and [PB] = 0, then we have a Tastiness Factor of 1 (perfect tastiness)!
If [C] = 50 and [PB] = 50, then we have a Tastiness Factor of 0, clearly an equal amount of peanut butter clearly cancels out the chocolate factor altogether.
If [C] = 0 and [PB] = 100, then we have a Tastiness Factor of -1 (perfect untastiness).

These equations are indisputable and clearly show that peanut butter has a low Tastiness Factor. Now, granted this Tastiness Factor only takes into account 1st order contributions to tastiness. Factoring in higher order contributions would show a maximum with [C] somewhere between 50 and 100, but the derivation is too complex for you weak-minded peanut butter backers, that it would simply cause your taste buds to implode should you view it.

As another example, I was recently in the grocery store, perusing the selection of cereals, and found the holiest of holy combinations: Chocolate Lucky Charms! As I continued to look around, I was unable to find a Peanut Butter Lucky Charms variety. Apparently, even the big companies realize that peanut butter tends to reduce the Tastiness Factor of your favourite food.

Finally, to conclude:
Chocolate Fondue: Awesomeness
Peanut Butter Fondue: Only a truly crazy, sick and twisted individual would attempt such a thing. Anyone who has ever tried has likely died in the process, hence why it has never been reported.

Chocolate FTW!

j'bob April 18 2008 4:40 PM EDT

OH MY GOSH. You want to talk cereal my well spoken friend? Peanut Butter Captain Crunch. Pwned and Thread Closed!

j'bob April 18 2008 4:44 PM EDT

Sorry, I got so worked up about the PBCC I forgot to mention that I do indeed eat PB straight from the jar. On a spoon or using pieces of bread as the vehicle, it's PB baby.

RVT April 18 2008 4:56 PM EDT

Chocolate.

Lord Bob April 18 2008 5:01 PM EDT

Chocolate.

I'm also voting for Obama.

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] April 18 2008 8:37 PM EDT

Peanut Butter M&M's.

SRSLY!

QBJohnnywas April 18 2008 8:39 PM EDT

Depends on the person you're with..... ;)

Flamey April 19 2008 3:25 AM EDT

pfft, peanut butter doesn't make you feel happy. peanut butter does not buy love. I think the choice is clear.

th00p April 19 2008 11:11 AM EDT

I would go with both, because mmm Reese's, but if I had to choose just one it's gotta be the PB.

ActionAction April 19 2008 11:28 AM EDT

Chocolate. You can cover so many things in it :). I'm sure peanut butter would work just as well - I wub both of them - but it would make too much of a mess :(.

And jars of peanut butter aren't quite as romantic as a box of chocolate.

th00p April 19 2008 10:58 PM EDT

Chocolate - 9

Peanut Butter - 7

Get those votes in before it's too late!

[RX3]Cotillion April 19 2008 11:03 PM EDT

I really like chocolate a lot better with peanut butter, but I can eat peanut butter with honey or jelly. There aren't many different things I like that go with chocolate, so peanut butter gives me more of a choice, therefore getting my vote.

Tyriel [123456789] April 19 2008 11:16 PM EDT

Chocolate, most definitely.

Daz April 19 2008 11:54 PM EDT

I hate peanut butter, so... uh... Chocolate wins!

RedWolf April 20 2008 12:51 AM EDT

Chocolate... peanut butter sticks to my mouth and doesn't taste nearly as good or melt nearly as deliciously ;-)

Relic April 20 2008 1:16 AM EDT

Best shake ever is Hot Fudge with Peanut Butter, nuff said.

BootyGod April 20 2008 5:45 AM EDT

Squirrel.

BluBBen April 20 2008 5:53 AM EDT

Chocolate! For the reason that peanut butter sticks so bad in my mouth.
