What is the official server time right now?
Y2k7 problem?

Official time is correct.

It is 954AM.

We have this thing called Daylight Savings time in the US. Stupid really but we still have it.

So why are the forum and other things (fight history, transfers) already saving some daylight? The time under 'Community' is still not convinced about the need to switch.

the database knows it's EDT now but the OS thinks it's still EST

I guess this is also one of those one-hour feature requests? :)

Starting this year, the start of Daylight Savings Time has been moved up to the 2nd Sunday in March. This is for the parts (majority) of Canada and the U.S. that observe DST. Took me a while to figure that out too.

How difficult would it be to switch CB to UTC and have a preference in each users settings page for their particular time zone (ie: UTC -4)?

I am sure that isn't one of the one-hour changes, but it would be kinda nice to have user-specific time zones.

Is cache flush / start of clan points at OS time or at database time?
