This just popped into my mind. :)
At an effect of 1.00, let the minion training Junction wear Body Armour, Cloak and Power Shield with their Tattoo.
Alternatively, this could be made into an Amulet. Maybe an Amulet of Junction. ;)

Too much... way too much... then it's a skill that lets you have a free minion with no penalty, plus that minion is sickly powerful because you're wearing 400 AC with it... Nah...
for it to work and be balanced there would ahve to be suck a penalty that makes it nearly useless or not much better that the current system. its probably better the way it is

That's 236 AC with naming bonus.
The downside is the constant XP cost to keep Junction at 1.00 as your Tattoo grows.

I wasn't meaning "you" are wearing 400 AC just that "some" are and "you" could, feasibly... I like the idea of a AoJ, something you could use money on to get more junction, but I just think that if Junction 1.00 meant you could wear all armor slots and a tattoo, then every single person in the game would have junction and a familiar, because it would be stupid not to.
then if that was true that everyone would must have one isnt bad, makes for another lvl of play, those with one and those without. but you can say that it can be used for any tattoo. 4FBM + SF + MCM + CoI + AG + Corn + EB/DB. i really would like to get my hands on 4 of those if it means i can have AC.
If I understand things correctly, this would (theoretically) allow DD familiars, and the two weapon users to wear a full heavy AC set with no penalties...not a chance...
Only the familiar would have no penalties. The minion would have all the normal penalties for whatever they wore. ;)
all the gear i chose bears no negative % to dd

Am I misunderstanding what you are saying, or are you forgetting that you can't wear MCM and CoI with a familiar?
The fact that a familiar takes up slots is the only thing preventing 400 AC heavy familiars.
