An off the wall thought has occured to me.
People have limited fight lists, and to be honest, mostly, there is a lack of people to fight. This is more aparent the higher you climb.
I've had some high charcater sin my time, but have retired them to make way for new ones. This is a waste to CB as a whole. An opponent gone, who others could be fighting.
A static opponent yes, but to be honest, in the lower levels a lot of my fight list are static old charcaters, or farms/banks.
Could CB make use of retired (an never un retired) characters, to plump out the list of availble targets?
Maybe these could even be outiftted wiht items CB wins AH bids on, instead of them gathering dust or being deleted.
What do we think?

plump out the list of targets? not possible.
also these characters won't be in a clan, thus not fought much.
Not everyone targets only clan members. ;)
ive mentioned this before, about making proxies or bot strats that are there for the gaps in scores for high mpr players, i also mentioned using retired chars as existing set ups..but no one listens to me, i reall think this idea will help in the long run

True, but they make more money if you can kill them ;)
I think the term here that you're looking for is "NPC"

I don't like the idea of using bot chars or unretiring chars to fill fight lists. That would artificially inflate the overall scores and standings of people. They should have to compete with the characters that are still active today...not the old characters no longer used.
Tell that to all the people fighting up, who's fight lists consist mainly of old farms.
It's no different.
Nothing gets artifically inflated, unless these NPCs are easy mode and easy to kill for good rewards. Which they shouldn't be.
