ELB testing (in General)

This thread is just for data gathered in testing various elb setups...

For this test I'm using a +50 elb and have 300k dex vrs and opponent with 395k dex and no evasion or dbs. The control is a +10 SoD wielding enchanter with 150k dex.

1) PC-00-0C (this indicated the Paladin hit in round 1 but not round 2 or 3, the cleric hit in rounds 1 and 2)

SoD: 14 shots out of 60 ranged rounds (well 59)

Go SoD, maybe the pth and evasion needs some tweaking.
Otherwise the ELB is going the way of the dodo

testing +102 elb (and +10 SoD w/150k dex) with about 300k dex
opponent is Joyyp, who has either 0 or 1 dex on all his minions after my base EC, no evasion in play.

1) PPCC-PPCC-PPCC (this indicated double hits for both minions in all ranged rounds)
2) PPC-PCC-PP (cleric was dead in round 2...so much for this test)
3) PPC-PPCC-PP (again the cleric was dead)
4) PPCC-PPCC-PP (SAA)

Not one single solitary triple hit...I'd go on testing but I'm tired of losing to

It seems rather weird that you lose to Shade whereas I always beat him and usually get losses against you, and that is with me also using an axbow, although maybe my new token evasion will make a difference =/

woot, I am being used as a test character :D

Zog that's hardly strange, I always used to have a 'triangle relation' with 2 other characters on cb1 and also in cb2 for a while that I beat one of them and lost to the other. The one I lost to then also lost to the other one which I beat.

Just a matter of strenghts and weaknesses :)

Never a double hit against shade...I'll be training dex to try and keep up with him, but as you can see I'm fighting a losing battle.

My biggest piece of mystery is how I can miss him at all with a +102 ELB and archery...I should (by my understanding of our documentation) be getting a hit almost every ranged round, and always a hit in round 3. If that has changed I missed it.

found the bug. it was effectively random whether archery would work or not. enjoy your upgraded fight list. :)
