CB Texas Hold'Em Poker Game (in Contests)

Im thinking about holding a Texas Hold'em game. It lets a few of us CB-ers play a fun game of poker one night, and if your lucky even win some prizes. I have not decided what day to hold it on yet.. Im thinking next week on the week-end, around 7:00-8:00PM EST.

Seven people will be able to participate in the game(there will be eight including myself).
There will be a buy-in fee of 225k.
1st place prize: 1 million CB2
2nd place prize: 500,000 CB2
3rd place prize: 300,000 CB2.

If I held this, would anyone be willing to participate? Someone ran them awhile ago, but stopped doing it. I thought i'd bring the fun back to CB. The program we would be using is Hold'em Poker. It isn't a download, so all you have to do is sign-up and play. A table will be created for the game, and all you have to do is join it and pick a seat.

Hopefully if this runs ok, I will be able to hold more of these in the future.

How many players will be in this tournament?

Your prize split is skewed. For single table tournaments, the prize split is usually 50%, 30%, 20%. Just pointing somethin out. : )

Sunday, October 15th at 12:00pm EST

I sent a CM to all participants at this time to see if this is ok with others. Im prefering the 9th but if most people will not be able to attend, then we can use the alternate day. I tried making rhem on holidays/week-ends when people usually dont work.Once the date is chosen, I will start collecting money.

Prizes have been changed. I did some research and they were like BMW said..

1st place: 900,000 CB2
2nd place: 540,000 CB2
3rd place: 360,00 CB2

Miandrital - Cannot play.. Reserved seat during next game.
Karmic Mishap - I believe he can play either day.

Everyone has agreed to play even if we do not have a full table. I sent a CM to everyone asking for their buy-in fees to be sent ASAP.

I CM'ed edyit and i believe he will also be joining us.

Swagger has just informed me he will not be able to attend because of Real life matters.

I would love to play, but next weekend is my G/F bday.... don't think it would go over too big me playing poker while she eats cake :) Keep me in mind for future tournaments I am an absolute for any tourney, time permitting.
