Weapon dmg improvements are now instant, like ammo upgrades.

Seems like Sefton is stuck for the time being. :)
omg, my MH was at 75% RPM on the X, can there be anything done for that? Becase that took me a wasted week to get it there from 0%....
Forging efficiency isn't. Demand, however...

badly, the rates are going to have to drop a lot.
RPM was taking into account when generating the new xDmg values.

Heh, forging armor is still on!

I don't see why this affects forging demand at all. Was the blacksmith time really a factor in people wanting to forge instead? I doubt it. Money is the primary driver.
If forging is still cheaper than BS and it sounds like it will be, then it still makes sense to forge.

Forging efficiency still needs to be increased. As it stands forging is really only worth it if you are upgrading your own gear or if someone is upgrading it for you.

What other kind of forging is there Wasp??

You what??
yea it messed up the times alot, cuz i went on my normal day not knowing the changes, and the dwarf kicked me only after like 30 minutes of heating the X on my MH.

Can we now perhaps also have a drop down menu of 10 upgrades instead of just 7?
I mean with the now low damage upgrade cost of weapons, it would be nicer to have a more wide choice of how high to upgrade, another X10 more only costs 60-90k.

Yeah, bigger dropdown, bigger dropdown. If you've enough money to upgrade by 33 times for instance, doing seven at a time is a pain.
But then Johnnywas is lazy...
perhaps for weapons an "other" option, similar to the training page, where you can type in the desired "x" enchantment and use that instead of the dropdown?

Instant improvement doesn't feel quite right imo.
I can imagine, on entering the forge, the dwarf saying. "I'll be right with ya sonny, just go to the back of the queue and as soon as I'm done with everyone that was in before you, you'll get your weapon upgraded."
Keep the upgrade of multiple x's "instant", but if there's a 1hr wait because people are in the forge first - let's make the upgrade "instant + 1hr" please.

cause you can't queue 100 x's that have to wait an hour... but why does it matter anyways how long you wait... most people just queue it right before they log off if they have to wait..

or make ANY damage modifier upgrade, being 1x or 7x just cost the same time, 4 minutes. This way you still have to think about when to put it in.

I just bought about 140 x's on an elbow (yes call me stupid) but should i really have to wait til the end of the queue 20 times?
No, but you should have to wait till the end of the queue ONCE. Maybe you could enter the number of X you want up front, and if you can afford it, it would go into the queue.
when are we going to be able to upgrade the ammo again?
I like some PTH on my bolts and some more damage.
Or is it RIP for upgrading ammo?
Im just wondering.

i agree we need to bring back ammo upgrading

It hardly matters if you have X1 or X20 on ammo atm, so just keep on using the same small ammo you have.
Additionally, if you want more + on your ammo, consider using the blacksmith to upgrade the + on your weapon instead.
Shade the + on ammo is cheaper then on the weapons and for a short time solution it better to hold upgrading (worthless) bows and xbows until you get a good ranged weapon (like elb exbow axbow etc). And i had battles were i needed the extra PTH on the ammo. Ii didnt had the cash to up the ranged weapon. So give at least the option back to up the PTH on ammo

If you need the + upgrades on ammo, then the only solution atm is saving the cash for the + upgrade on your ranged weapon...

I think every weapon should now be allowed to be upgraded through the blacksmith.
Additionally imo the upgrade costs of the lower base damage weapons should be lower, reasons:
To bring more competitiveness of the common weapons.
To even the field at least a bit and make smaller weapons useful again.

I agree with Shade.
