Hey i have a question about the new security procotion that blocks other ip addresses from signing into you character. Well i play this at work and im hardly ever home so is there anyway where i can have both my work ip and home ip on the same character?
what security protection? I signed on from both work and home today...

me too and from numerous other IP's when I am traveling
o, i had this problem as well, first time its ever come up, i guess you cant have two windows of CB running at the same time now? I go afk at home at night then get on at school with CB idle at home.

I play from a whole load of different IPs - I've never been blocked by CB. CB has been blocked from a few places I've tried to log in from however. Maybe the protection is at your end?
just started today, ive been playing CB at school since cb1, so its not my end, lol
i had the same problem yesterday, i came back from training and i couldnt connect because i didnt sign on on my real IP, i dont have a real IP, the security system of my provider changes my IP everyday so i cant help that, so can i connect tomorrow?

My home connection is stuffed also.
I had no problem connecting on my mobile, however apart from a 5 minute period my connection was refused, as it was this morning.

I leave CB on every day at home and can always log in at work. I did it today.
hmmm...I have a cable connection, which means I have a dynamic IP...hopefully this won't affect me negatively...

I'm curious, why does no one ever provide the actual error messages?
bart: cause then you could help them, and this wonderous thread would die.

Because you can't post to the forum if you can't connect...
If no answer is available I'll stick it in a text file and send it from work tomorrow.
Something about Open IP proxy not being allowed. It gives you a suggested course of action by logging into the Proxy Monitor website, but that seems to be down - which I had taken to be the problem
