Vaynard's False Image or other ideas from contests (in General)

How about a new tank ability? Call it say "False Image", and have it create a number of copies of the original tank, that can do everything but deal damage.

I remember a spell in AD&D called mirror image, it was cool. Makes me wanna break out some old D&D books and look for other cool stuff.

It's a good idea what do you all think?

Maybe, in addition to skills, Feats.
In RPG, Feats are abilities learned that do not require any leveling. Its base, like Rune of Enlightment.
For example:
Two weapon fighting (you can wield two one handed swords, with a little penalty, but get more attacks per turn. Or weild two Two-handed, with more penalties, and such)
There are many i have in mind and i can get more ideas from RPG books i have. If the idea gets approved, i would gladly give more ideas about this. Maybe later ill add some new example of Feats.
My original idea was for them to be bought with EXP AND money. Maybe required MPR.

Secondary skills, similar to the "feats" and definitely costing exp and maybe minimums of STR, DEX, or HP, and perhaps you have to purchase a scroll or have someone train you in the art. Like secondary skills in AD&D. Yeah...cool!

Copies, but the copies have only 1 hp.....

Thanks guys, glad to hear you guys liked the idea, or at least found it interesting. At least my name for it was pretty original, even if it is common in other RPG's.

How about an enchantment that fills up empty minion slots with 20HP images? With no other stats (or their stats could increase depending on the size of the casting enchantment.

Having a skill that copies you tanks stats is really just like having three 20HP E's casting AS, GS and Haste.

A False Image spell really would destroy FB. Maybe make it so that FB is the only spell/attack that isn't "fooled" by the image?

FB or CoC wouldn't be fooled by the image I think have either of those just pass right thru the images, but if a Tank or MM hit one it would dissapate giving the targets away more readly
