I saw an example of this guys work on a pavement in Edinburgh earlier this year. Here's some more of his pretty cool 3D Anamorphic illusions.

WOW!!! Those are amazing!!!
Somewhere I have a shot of the girl in the swimming pool from the side, so you see it as drawn, without the 3-D effect - her leg is something like 20 feet long! :)

He did a picture of a world globe during the G8 summit in Edinburgh. The 3D looks great from the front and you could swear it was only a few feet tall when standing no more than 20 ft from it. If you moved to get a side view however it was 40ft long.
He is a real talent.
