Some hings to do: (things I thought out myself already)

In battles and recent battles, the green font is hard to read against the light green background
Drop down menu's have to be filled with color
Change a few other font colors perhaps also.

For comment or help: just CM me or put it in this thread.

O man Shadey, that's so green it's Radioactive!

AdminShade January 16 2006 10:26 AM EST

Thats pretty useless comment, it's like saying the blue grey theme is too blue its fluorescent!

some comment on what is too green and to change it to which color would help :)

PirateKing January 16 2006 10:33 AM EST

Hmmm... I don't care for that background color.(just a personal taste) Maybe try something along the lines of "off white" or "cream" colored?

Phrede January 16 2006 10:36 AM EST

I think it looks great - easy on the eyes. How much you want for the Buckler :-)

NSFY January 16 2006 10:38 AM EST

That blue CarnageBlender 2 box clashes with the green on my monitor. It tastes like burning.

QBRanger January 16 2006 10:39 AM EST

For my taste the green is just too bright to be used as a background. I like Leetblender (and am likely 1 of 2 or 3 that like it) since the blue background of it on the left frame is a dull blue and easy on the eyes.

Go go camo colour! ;) The only thing I'd say is the green post battle log doesn't go with the green background, but you've already mentioned that!

AdminShade January 16 2006 11:00 AM EST

Some updates: the post battle and recent battles now do go with the green background color, i changed the font color to blue.

Got the drop down menu color working, unless you actually click the drop down menu... (checked into another CSS that had black drop down menu's but didn't get it working yet)

AdminShade January 16 2006 12:59 PM EST

More updates:

The drop down menu's now also have the right color.

The Collapsable sidebar options now have the right "down arrow".

Made the green background color in the menu some more yellowish brown instead, so it will be easier on the eyes.

Screenshots coming soon (to be viewed from the first post.)

To do:

perhaps change the font type to be a bit more pretty and less standard

fix the Carnage Blender image, a friend of mine will be making it

Hello Shade...

I guess I like the light brown more than the dark one..
and I think the fonts don't look very nice...
Otherwise keep going...

:-)

I set a theme (TMind) yesterday and after the cache flush, I was back to the old red theme using the same opened browser.
The left panel remained with the newer theme (it hadn't refreshed), the fighting results panel became the original CB2.
Opening a new browser gave me the original red CB2 theme on both panels.

Hope this can be fixed, I like how easy it is to read your theme

FYI

AdminShade January 17 2006 6:03 PM EST

Anubis, perhaps the wrong place to discuss that certain issue but...

Tmind's theme isn't an official theme yet I believe, and thus after cache flush it is set back to a default theme, so you'd have to input the theme every day again.

Ox [StephenMelinda Gates Fund] January 17 2006 6:07 PM EST

I like the greens, but maybe add some gradients like the original theme?

Anubis January 17 2006 6:11 PM EST

thanks Shade, I put it as a FYI in case it was gonna impact your work.

AdminShade January 18 2006 4:48 AM EST

Well it will impact my work as my theme isn't permanent either, but perhaps some day ;)
