Great change, now one can experiment with your strategy without fear of losing a lot of tattoo xp.

One new problem with the tattoo artist now. The current tattoo is now a choice in which you can change to.
Let me get this straight...
You remove the xp reduction. In other words, greatly helping the big tattoo owners and making no difference to the little guys.
You double the price. No real difference to the big guys. Minor annoyance to the little guys.
It also allows more options to the top characters now that it's a lot easier to completely change your strategy overnight.
Although I'm not entirely sure that's going to help anything.
I'm assuming there is some logic to this, I just don't see it.

No new items on expostfacto yet...
I think this would be better if it offered both the old option and this one.

Makes you think more about possible changes, but make those changes better handleable

Now if we can only get unlearning at no penalty, total anarchy will occur.
or maybe the option for the penalty in unlearning also?? you can either lose a percentage of the trained xp, or a converted cb2$ equivalent ... now that would be anarchy :)

Heck, I would be overjoyed if we could partially unlearn instead of having to unlearn the whole xp put into a particular skill/spell/stat.

Total anarchy? No that would be if somebody changed all the ToA's in the game into TBF's overnight......

Good change, made changing strats at high level nigh impossible because of the tattoo exp loss. Now we just need partial unlearning or lessened unlearning penalties to encourage more strategy changes and experimentation. It is easy to experiment at lower levels because the impact is quite small, but at higher levels, it is foolish and extremely detrimental.

Question about this:
Does the former rule of a tattoo being inked to another not being able to revert back?
i.e. ToA => ToE => ToA NOT possible?
Stephen

Was that ever a rule?
ToJ > ToA !> ToJ is a valid rule, but only because you can't ink to a non-spawning tattoo.

There was this rule at the beginning of CB2 yes.

Hmmm:

Glory, you can change a ToJ to something else, but cannot change anything to a "supporter item" tattoo, which means ToJ. So in your example, you could NOT change it back, but you can change a ToE to a ToA (and vice versa) as many times as you wish.
news for me i think :)
IF you are a supporter, you should be able to change it to any item.

As my mother used to say, "what you want and what you get are two different things."

Shade that was never a rule when the Artist was put in, you are not able to change it to a supporter item.
That's the only rule there ever has been.

It's clear and simple.
"(The artist cannot change a spawnable tattoo into a Supporter item.)"
Well, the next question is then that statement implies you could ink a RoE into a ToJ and vice versa, but can you?

I have three things to say.
1) this is cool though I think it helps out the stronger players more then the weaker ones.
2) We should get the option fo reducing xp like before for less money
5) What comes after 2?
