Bribing Jon...Battle Cry? (in General)

This Battle Cry thing is still annoying, only one of my minions cries it and not always. I know others feel the same or worse.


Im thinking that since next month is the change month, and since Jon has avoided giving a timetable on fixing it, we can start collecting funds now to bribe Jon into fixing it.[If it is fixable]

some of my battle cries dont work either but it doesnt really bother me anymore. It would be nice to have them but it wouldn't bother me much if we didn't either.

i would love to have mine. i dont care if he yells it everytime one of them dies wether he kills them or not, in fact that would be cool. i just want him to yell it :D

I've never used battle cries, so from that point of view it doesn't bother me whether they are fixed. I am, however, very pedantic when it comes to punctuation and grammar. ;)

This is a fight between me and Bartlett. The only one that killed themselves was Mrs. Landingham. Everyone else, Yozan killed. Not once did he utter his battle-cry. And this is just an example. He never yells his battle cry. Naeve, when he kills someone with his dinky little FB, he gets to yell his battle-cry, but never poor Yozan. Poor, poor Yozan. Sad, he is.

maybe he was born a mute...and can only use sign language?

Most likely not relevant but all the folks complaining about their battle cries not working have some form of punctuation involved.
SoulCalibur and Dnnx both have cries with (!) in them and Almuric has a (,) My cries seem to work when and how they are supposed to and have no punctuation.

PS. Desperado, your battle cries don't work because you don't have any :)

Just changed it to have no punctuation. Still doesn't work. And Naeve's cry also has a comma and it works when he kills someone.

I have a period in mine and it works all the time:

Max cries "Chet. Always a pleasure!"

Oh well, it was worth a shot. At least I solved the problem for Desperado though :D

first off, that post with an entire battle listed was a waste... im sure you could of gotten your point across without using that... aside from that, is the battle-cry really that important? it doesnt do anything for your team, and it doesnt exactly bring me any satisfaction wether or not my minion uses it...

i would probably be just as happy without it... besides, it would be a little redundent if your minion shouted "my feet smell" or whatever else you put in, every time he made an attack... battle stat sheets would go on forever if that were the case...

so why bribe him to do anything with it?

I can reproduce the absence of a battle cry in at least 20% of my fights vs. Goldminer or toons

It's always my fighter behind my mage that remains silent when he finishes off a half burned opponent.

Battlecries are supposed to cried only when you defeat a minion, not everytime you attack.

No, csraven, it is not a big deal. But Jon has created such a perfect game that the only thing we have left to lament are the little things. *smile*

So we are just trying to help Jon perfect the game.

Spid has never, not once EVER yelled out his battle cry. Feel free to log in and fight anyone on my list, as much as you would like, it won't happen. Or, if you prefer, I'll just copy/paste as many battles as you would like in here.
