Darwinian Clan Member Award (in General)

I am starting an award in the spirit of the QB contest, but first a bit of background.

This Thursday and Friday I have not been the brightest light bulb on the chandelier.

As it relates to hardware, I knocked the button off my stylus, then proceeded to put it on backwards, meaning (1) it no longer worked and (2) I couldn't get it off. (Good thing I hadn't used it more then three times since I've owned it, all of which happened during my ill-fated play-Starcraft-with-a-digitizing-tablet experiment.)

As it relates to CB, I bought a katana named after a BoTh without realizing it, which wouldn't be stupidity of a Darwinian order, except that it took me a day to realize it, and I spent ~80k Blacksmithing the thing.

(For the interested, after I bought it, I thought, pricing a BoTh that low was newbie error, I better contact the poster and tell him his error, noticed he's been on as long as I have, noticed he'd tried to auction it twice already at the price and couldn't ... and it still took me a day to realize I was a moron.)

You are probably wondering what this has to do with an award. The prize for the Darwinian Clan Member Award, if you haven't guessed, is a named katana.

I am now accepting nominations of people who
(1) Have over 50K power (demonstrating experience and tenacity)
(2) Over 500 clan points a day (demonstrating enthusiasm)
(3) Have the absolute rock bottom stupidest strategy (Hence the 'Darwin').
(4) Are in YOUR (the nominator's) clan.

Remember, people who were the greatest idiots don't count. We're looking for active players who currently embody the essence of stupidity on CB.

Grant you are not alone to have make mistake and each time i did make 1 i was getting lucky at the shop.

This week i sell a MS for 58K few day after i get a ELS at the shop.
1 month ago i was sending 70K to the wrong char 3 hour later i got a pair of DB at the shop.

Thing come and goes.

Playing Starcraft with a digitizing tablet, sounds awesome! You must've out-micro'd everyone :)

I'm VERY interested in reading up on the starcraft experiment. What does a tablet do for you that the mouse, and several user-assignable keys doesn't? And, once you present the theorycraft version of what a table is _supposed_ to do, I'd love to hear how it actually went.

Or, perhaps there is a link somewhere with all of this information?

As far as tablets and Starcraft go: You can't move the pointer fast enough--the advantage of a stylus is precision, and the advantage of a mouse is speed.

And that would be 650k for a katana. <<ducks>>

I think thats an awesome darwinian prize. Just the way it should be.

After a long and convoluted judging, the Darwin award goes to Tekyanova, owned by Bezfidd, because he was the only person nominated.

Ironically, he has already improved his strategy over the past couple days, though his score is still below his power.

I wish I had some deep thoughts for Bezfidd, but instead I'm going to take a deep breath and put this all behind me.

Hey, his character is good meat. I'm not complaining

Something happened rapidly to his character, I was beating him hands down Saturday and now I can't beat him even after training my 70k spare exp :/

Ok with his 2.5mill+ NW spread over those items and my 1.6mill NW just in ToJ and VB I can see why :)
